Our wonderful baby girl has arrived, a whole 14 days early! Labour was fast, clocking in at about 4 hours, and Samara was born at 1:01pm on the 27th Feb 2011, weighing 8lb 2oz. Christy was able to come home the following day (Monday) and that night went quite well. She seems to be having 3-4 hours of sleep between feeding/changing which is nice.

Errr, some mixup with my webhost meant that ALL my websites went down tonight, suspended due to a late payment on the invoice, even though I only received the email for the invoice two days ago. Oh well, it was only down for a few hours, so hopefully (most likely) noone actually noticed…

Now that my long awaited garden sleepers are all finished, I thought I would just show a side-by-side Before/After shot of the path and garden. Below are two images, where the top one is a photo from June 2009 shortly after we moved into the house. As you can see, the garden edge is low and falling over, allowing bark to fall out over the path. Also, on the right the lawn is very untidy. The bottom photo, was taken in February 2010 a few weeks after I finished the garden sleepers. Since the sleepers went in, not a single piece of bark has fallen out. Also, the path looks awesome at night, and the lawn is damn good!
